Couldn’t draw this one fast enough. My favorite part of The Last Jedi, without really spoiling it, is Vegetarian Chewbacca! And I thought I couldn’t love my favorite Wookiee more.

2017 Best Nine
I cheated and made my own #2017bestnine of some of my new work this year. Starting back in January I set out to illustrate all of the pieces that have been on my list for a while, sketch of the days and otherwise. I made more than 30 new pieces this year and I hope I can keep up the pace for 2018, working on more original stuff. Some reoccurring themes this year: big glasses (red ones too), line-ups, Stranger Things, Twin Peaks, mermaids (not pictured), lots of yellow (who knew?), and Christmas lights.
