  • A Christmas Story

I love Christmas and Christmas movies. So I thought I’d pay my respects to one of my top 5, A Christmas Story!

You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.

  • The Munsters illustration

It was fun making this monochromatic illustration of The Munsters! I have to give thanks to #mabsdrawlloweenclub for inspiring me to draw things I might not have drawn. It’s been great seeing other artists’ creations as well!

  • 25 new illustrations in 2017

My last illustration, The Breakfast Club, was my 25th illustration this year and I’m so very happy about that! I have a long list of other illustrations I hope to get to soon.

  • The Breakfast Club

My first in a possible series of John Hughes films illustrations. His movies were a big part of my teenage years, as they were for anyone that grew up in the 80s. I’d have to pick Ferris Bueller’s Day Off as my favorite Hughes movie. Not only because Ferris was the coolest person alive, but also it was my first VHS tape and I watched it over & over again. But I love them all: Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Vacation… the list goes on!

  • Lana Del Rey

Been working on this idea of Lana Del Rey as a mermaid for some time now. Most of her music reminds me of warm summer days & nights. I think I’m finished, but might go back and add even more little details from some of her songs.
