Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was my favorite movie in middle and high school. I remember seeing it at the Point 4 with my dad and ever since I wanted to be like Ferris (who didn’t?) even though I was more of a Cameron. There are so many classic lines to the movie that I can’t pick just one. What’s your favorite? Bonus points if you can name the artists who’s paintings are on the wall.

  • The Breakfast Club

My first in a possible series of John Hughes films illustrations. His movies were a big part of my teenage years, as they were for anyone that grew up in the 80s. I’d have to pick Ferris Bueller’s Day Off as my favorite Hughes movie. Not only because Ferris was the coolest person alive, but also it was my first VHS tape and I watched it over & over again. But I love them all: Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Vacation… the list goes on!
