Jack & Meg of The White Striped Bass brother & sister band. Known for such hits as “Fell in Love With a Gill”, “Seven Crustacean Army”, and “We’re Going to Be Fins”. We’ll never know how Jack stays under water for so long, must be all that rum.

A quick sketch of a purrmaid doing an upside-down stretch.

Shout out to all the betta fish out there who are going through it.

Amelie is one of my favorite movies so I had to draw her! Can you believe the film is almost 20 years old?! I just read that the filmmaker Jean-Pierre Jeunet is making a mockumentry about the making of Amelie. He also refuses to make a sequel, which I think is great because the movie doesn’t need one. Sequels are never good!

Squid Mermaid problems, am I right?

I think this prompt is a reference to a band but I first pictured an Elvira mermaid so I went with that.

Erin is going to turn these Frida Kahlo shrinky dinks into earrings for a fun collaboration! Only problem is that I used cheap shrinky dink sheets and some of the lines are smudging off. I’ll try some clear coat to save them.

“Artoo, help! Surely we will rust, and my hair is a mess.”
I figured there will be lots of Leia mermaids today but not many C-3POs!
